The Beckoning is a new Contemporary Christian band dedicated to bringing glory to God through music. Here is a quick bio:

In 1994, Steve Beck asked his brother, Bill, if he needed a drummer to join his duo.  Bill was writing and playing Christian music on the bass guitar and singing.  Shortly after joining the band, Bill invited Steve to his church.  Steve became a member, and joined the worship team.  Becky Swann, who played the flute and sang, was on that worship team, too.  She also played with a local orchestra. 

In 2019, Steve joined a church where David Heinze was leading the worship team while playing the keyboard and singing.  He was also playing in a local Classic Rock/Pop Rock group with Paul More’ who sings and plays the drums.  Paul also has 23 years of experience playing drums on a worship team.   Bill and David decided to join The Beckoning in 2025, and Paul and Becky joined in 2026.
